VTHT 2205 Equine Clinical Management (2)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed VTHT 1401 and VTHT 2201 with a minimum grade of "C."
Survey of feeding, common management practices, and care of equines in a clinical setting. Review of common diseases of equines encountered in the practice of veterinary medicine. The student will apply appropriate sanitation and disease prevention techniques; utilize appropriate medication procedures; and implement knowledge of nutrition, behavior, and reproduction of equines in a clinical setting. (2 Lec., 1 Lab.)
