BIOL 2416 Genetics (4)
This is a Texas Common Course Number. Prerequisite: Biology 1406. This course focuses on genetics. Topics include Mendelian inheritance, recombinant genetics, the biochemical theory of genetic material, and mutation theory. Plant and animal materials are used to study population genetics, linkage, gene structure and function, and other concepts of heredity. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
