SLNG 2301 Interpreting I (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: SLNG 1321, SLNG 1345 and SLNG 1445. Concurrent enrollment: SLNG 2302, SLNG 2411 and SPCH 1342.
An overview of the interpreting process and current models. Introduces the skills necessary to achieve message equivalency in interpreting. This class emphasizes Sign to Voice interpreting. (2 Lec., 2 Lab.)
