VTHT 2323 Veterinary Clinical Pathology I (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed VTHT 1413 or BIOL 1406 with a minimum grade of "C."
In-depth study of hematology and related chemistries with emphasis on lab procedures. The student will perform complete blood counts (CBC's); recognize abnormal blood conditions; perform common blood chemistries; demonstrate appropriate use of diagnostic equipment; and perform pre-anesthesia evaluation. (2 Lec.,4 Lab.)
