DSPE 1200 Introduction to Pediatric Echocardiography Techniques (2) New course added March 9, 2010

Prerequisite: Admission to the program.
Corequisite/Concurrent: Students must be concurrently enrolled in DSAE 2303, DMSO 2343, and DSPE 1260.
An introduction to pediatric echocardiography techniques and procedures. Emphasis is placed on the sonographic appearance of the normal neonatal and pediatric heart. Basic scan protocol to include 2-D,
M-mode, Doppler and standard measurements. (2 Lec.)
