The Associate Degree Program in Fire Protection Technology integrates professional firefighting technical skills related to the everyday demands of the profession with academic and fire science courses covering fire service organization, strategy and tactics, fire codes and alarm and extinguishing systems, to provide graduates with the necessary ancillary knowledge to advance into supervisory and/or management level positions. The program is designed for students employed or those who desire employment in the fire service. p>
