EECT 2439   Communications Circuits (4)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: CETT 1429.
This course is a study of communications systems with emphasis on amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, phase modulation, and digital pulse modulation. Discussion of several types of modulators, demodulators, receivers, transmitters, and transceivers. The student will describe the operation of communications receivers and transmitters; measure and troubleshoot communications systems; and describe the use of microwave receivers used in down-links in communications and the geographical regional transponder relationships used to communicate by cell phone. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
