ITNW 1280   Cooperative Education - Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications (2)

Prerequisite: Instructor approval prior to enrollment.
Career-related activities, encountered in the student's area of specialization offered through an individualized agreement among the college, employer, and student. Instruction in networking technologies and their implementation. Topics include the OSI reference model, network protocols, transmission media, and networking hardware and software. This course is cross-listed as ITNW 1325. The student may register for either ITNW 1325 or ITNW 1425, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)

ITNW 2310   Perl Scripting (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: Basic Web Page generation skills or instructor approval.
Development of Perl scripts to administer operating systems. Includes developing scripts for account maintenance, monitoring and reporting, and controlling operating system services. This course is cross-listed as ITNW 2410. The student may register for either ITNW 2310 or ITNW 2410, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

ITNW 2346   Small Office Home Office (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: CPMT 2302 or instructor approval.
Application of network concepts learned in previous courses. Includes responsibilities and tasks required to successfully perform in the Small Office Home Office (SOHO) environment. This course is cross-listed as ITNW 2446. The student may register for either ITNW 2346 or ITNW 2446, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

ITNW 2456   Designing a Network Directory Infrastructure (4)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: Prior networking course, networking experience or instructor approval.
Design, implement, and support a network directory infrastructure in a multi-domain environment. (3 Lec., 4 Lab)
