MUSI 1311 Music Theory I (3)
This is a Texas Common Course Number.
Prerequisite: Music 1300 and 1371 or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor.
This course is designed for music majors and minors. Emphasis is on notation, cadences, classification of diatonic triads, scales, and modes. It is recommended that students enrolled in Music 1116 enroll in this course. (3 Lec.)
