PHYS 2426 General Physics (4)
This is a Texas Common Course Number.
Prerequisite: Physics 2425 and credit or concurrent enrollment in Mathematics 2414. Developmental Reading 0093 or English as a Second Language (ESOL) 0044 or have met the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standard in Reading.
This course presents the principles and applications of heat, electricity, magnetism, and optics. Emphasis is on fundamental concepts, problem-solving, notation and units. The laboratory includes a one-hour problem session. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
