Instruction Mountain View College offers traditional freshman and sophomore undergraduate credit classes which may be applied toward an associate degree or transferred to a four-year college or university towards a baccalaureate degree. The 48-hour Core Curriculum is guaranteed to transfer to public universities in Texas. Career and technical education programs prepare students for immediate entrance into the workforce. Along with traditional transfer class offerings, Mountain View College's technical program offerings include aviation, business administration, computer-aided design and drafting, computer technology, electronics, machine technology, nursing, and welding technology. Mountain View College provides developmental education courses for individuals needing additional preparation for college-level reading, writing, and mathematics. English for speakers of other languages and conversational Spanish classes are also offered. |
