VIET 1312 Beginning Vietnamese II (3)
This is a Texas Common Course Number. Prerequisite: VIET 1311 or the equivalent or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor. This is the second semester of academic transfer Vietnamese. It continues the oral practice, reading, writing, grammar and cultural studies begun in VIET 1311. Students are expected to acquire a substantial amount of vocabulary and begin to deal with idiomatic language and more advanced syntax. This course is cross-listed as VIET 1412.
