ITSC 1329   Fundamentals of Solaris Operating Environment (SA) (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: Basic networking and operating essentials skills or instructor approval.
Designed for the student interested in Solaris certification, this course is for new users and covers how to use the basic Solaris operating environment. Topics include fundamental command-line features of the Solaris operating environment file system, file permissions, the text editor, command shells, and basic network use. Licensing/Certification Agency: Sun Microsystems. This course is cross-listed as ITSC 1429. The student may register for either ITSC 1329 or ITSC 1429, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)
