ITDF 2320   Digital Forensics Collection (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Corequisite/Concurrent: ITDF 2425 Digital Forensics Tools. Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search as prescribed by the program and college.
A study of how to obtain digital evidence of a device and from network messages and logs while preserving the evidentiary chain. Includes the legal aspects of the search and seizure of computers and related equipment/information. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)
