Within the college, continuing education programs deliver flexible, diverse, visionary instruction responsive to the needs of public, private, and corporate citizens. Continuing Education programs provide workforce training, personal and professional development courses and other outreach programs to enhance individual, community and economic development including customized training for business and industry.

Continuing education instructors are professionals from the community chosen for their knowledge, expertise and experience in their fields. Training and instruction are offered as courses, programs, seminars, workshops and distance learning opportunities. Registration is continuous, convenient and customer-oriented with new classes starting throughout the year on weekdays and weekends both during the day and evening hours. Continuing education classes are offered at the college and in a variety of locations throughout the community. For specific information on public course offerings, contact the college and request a current Continuing Education Schedule at www.dcccd.edu/Continuing Education/Registration/Pages/Class Schedules.aspx

A variety of student services are available for Continuing Education students including financial aid, library privileges, career placement services, tutoring and academic/career advising. Some scholarship and grant funds may be available for specific noncredit programs and courses. To apply for these funds, contact the College's Continuing Education or Financial Aid Office.
