Teaching Mathematics in Elementary and Middle School I
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a DCCCD Core Curriculum Course.
Prerequisite: Math 1314 or Math 1414 or the equivalent.
Course Description: Concepts of sets, functions, numeration systems, number theory, and properties of the natural numbers, integers, rational, and real number systems with an emphasis on problem solving and critical thinking. This course is designed specifically for students who seek elementary and/or middle grade teacher certification. (3 Lec.)
