Introductory Chemistry I (Allied Health emphasis)
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a DCCCD Core Curriculum Course. Prerequisite: The following must be met: (1) Developmental Mathematics 0090 or higher or the equivalent AND (2) Developmental Reading 0093 or English as a Second Language (ESOL) 0044 or have met the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Reading standard.
Course Description: This is a survey course introducing chemistry to allied health students. Topics may include inorganic, organic, biochemistry, food/physiological chemistry, environmental/consumer chemistry. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
