Course Description: Overview of the radio frequency identification (RFID) system and its utilization in the current logistical industry. Includes an introduction of the value of the RFID system as it relates to traffic management, transportation, inventory management, warehousing, packaging, order processing, and materials handling. Prerequisite: LMGT 1301.
Course Description: Overview of the wireless communication system and its application with the radio frequency identification (RFID) system. Includes an introduction of the value of both systems as they relate to traffic management, transportation, inventory management, warehousing, packaging, order processing, and materials handling. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
