Beginning Russian II
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a DCCCD Core Curriculum Course.
Prerequisite: RUSS 1311 or the equivalent or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor.
Course Description: This is the second semester of academic transfer Russian. It continues the oral practice, reading, writing, grammar and cultural studies begun in RUSS 1311. Students are expected to acquire a substantial amount of vocabulary and begin to deal with idiomatic language and more advanced syntax. This course is cross-listed as RUSS 1412. The student may register for either RUSS 1312 or RUSS 1412, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 1 Lab.)
