College Mathematics I
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a DCCCD Core Curriculum Course.
Prerequisite: Two years of high school algebra and an appropriate assessment test score or Developmental Mathematics 0099 or Developmental Mathematics 0093.
Course Description: Designed for liberal arts students, this course includes the study of sets, logic, sets of numbers, and mathematical systems. Additional topics will be selected from mathematics of finance, introduction to computers, introduction to statistics, and introduction to matrices. Recreational and historical aspects of selected topics are also included. (3 Lec.)
