Beginning Vietnamese II
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a DCCCD Core Curriculum Course.
Prerequisite: VIET 1411 or the equivalent or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor.
Course Description: This is the second semester of academic transfer Vietnamese. This course continues the oral practice, reading, writing, grammar and cultural studies begun in VIET 1411. Students are expected to acquire a substantial amount of vocabulary and begin to deal with idiomatic language and more advanced syntax. This course is cross-listed as VIET 1312. The student may register for either VIET 1312 or VIET 1412, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 2 Lab.)
