Federal Pell Grant

Pell Grants are awarded to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor's or professional degree. For many students, Pell Grants provide a foundation of financial aid to which other aid may be added. Eligibility requirements include enrollment for at least one credit hour during an eligible enrollment period.

Students who are accelerating their progress toward completion of a program by attending classes year-round may be eligible for additional funding from the Pell grant program. For more detail on eligibility requirements for Year Round Pell please visit the DCCCD Financial Aid Web pages.
