TSI approved test instruments are ACCUPLACER, ASSET, COMPASS and Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA or Quick THEA), formerly known as TASP. Even though the TASP test is no longer administered, previous TASP scores will continue to be honored as directed by the THECB.

The colleges administer ACCUPLACER, ASSET and Quick THEA, all of which are TSI state approved assessments.
