Mathematics for Business and Economics
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a DCCCD Core Curriculum Course.
Prerequisite: Two years of high school algebra and an appropriate assessment test score or DMAT 0099 or DMAT 0093.
Course Description: Topics from college algebra (linear equations, quadratic equations, functions and graphs, inequalities), mathematics of finance (simple and compound interest, annuities), linear programming, matrices, systems of linear equations, applications to management, economics, and business. (3 Lec.)
