TECM 1303 (3 Credit Hours)

Technical Calculations
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: DREA 0093 or English as a Second Language (ESOL) 0044 or have met the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standard in Reading.
Course Description: Specific mathematical calculations required by business and industry. Includes whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers, decimals, percents, ratios, and proportions. Also covers converting to different units of measure (standard and/or metric). (3 Lec.)

Technical Algebra
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: One year of high school algebra and an appropriate assessment test score or DMAT 0097 or DMAT 0091 or equivalent.
Course Description: Application of linear equations, simultaneous equations, and quadratic equations relevant to technical occupations. (3 Lec.)
