Cedar Valley College will use the following minimum passing standards (in scaled scores) to determine a student's readiness to enroll in freshman-level academic coursework. In addition to following the Texas Success Initiative requirements, the college also requires additional prerequisite requirements for select college courses. Please see the college course descriptions for prerequisite requirements. A new writing prerequisite requirement became effective fall 2007.
