Introduction to Pediatric Echocardiography Techniques
This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Admission to the program. Corequisite/Concurrent: Students must be concurrently enrolled in DSAE 2303, DMSO 2343, and DSPE 1260.
Course Description: An introduction to pediatric echocardiography techniques and procedures. Emphasis is placed on the sonographic appearance of the normal neonatal and pediatric heart. Basic scan protocol to include 2-D,
M-mode, Doppler and standard measurements. (2 Lec.)

Clinical-Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Sonographer and Ultrasound Technician
This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Admission to the program. Current American Heart Association Class C Basic Life Support certification. Corequisite/Concurrent: Students must be concurrently enrolled in DSAE 2303, DMSO 2343, and DSPE 1200.
Course Description: A health related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. (10 Ext.)
