Degree Plan Code: C2.SGTC.TECH.08 The Surgical Technologist program is 11 months in length and offers the student a learning opportunity to provide patient services in the surgical setting under the supervision of the operating room director. The Surgical Technologist, as a part of the operating team, aids in providing safe and efficient patient care. The technologist prepares the instruments, supplies and equipment for use at the operating room table and assists in the use of these materials during surgical procedures.
