Contemporary Philosophy
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a Core Curriculum course selected by the colleges of DCCCD.
Prerequisite: DREA 0093 or English as a Second Language (ESOL) 0044 or have met the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standard in reading.
Course Description: As a third course in the history of philosophy sequence, this course examines philosophic movements in the 20th and 21st centuries. Emphasis may vary from semester to semester. Existentialism, logical positivism, linguistic philosophy, among others, as well as individual philosophers, may be considered. (3 Lec.)
