ARTV 1345 (3 Credit Hours)

3-D Modeling and Rendering I
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: ARTV 1302 or instructor approval.
Course Description: Techniques of three-dimensional (3-D) modeling utilizing appropriate software. Includes the creation and modification of 3-D geometric shapes, use of a variety of rendering techniques, camera light sources, texture, and surface mapping. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Digital Video
This is a WECM Course Number.
Course Description: Producing and editing video and sound for multimedia or web productions. Emphasizes capture, editing, and outputting of video using a desktop digital video workstation. This course is cross-listed as ARTV 1451. The student may register for either ARTV 1351 or ARTV 1451 but may receive credit for only one of the two. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

2-D Animation I
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: Prior interactive media courses, experience with interactive media software or instructor approval.
Course Description: Skill development in the use of software to develop storyboards and two-dimensional animation including creating, importing, and sequencing media elements to create multimedia presentation. Emphasis on conceptualization, creativity, and visual aesthetics. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)
