Beginning Korean II
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a Core Curriculum course selected by the colleges of DCCCD.
Prerequisite: KORE 1311 or the equivalent or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor.
Course Description: This is the second semester of academic transfer Korean. It continues the oral practice, reading, writing, grammar and cultural studies begun in KORE 1311. Students are expected to acquire a substantial amount of vocabulary and begin to deal with idiomatic language and more advanced syntax. This course is cross-listed as KORE 1412 but is used only in Study Abroad programs. Students may register for either KORE 1312 or KORE 1412 but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 1 Lab.)
