Emphasis Degrees
ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCES DEGREE WITH AN EMPHASIS IN ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
Degree Code: AS.TAMU.ELEC.ENGR.11 This is an "Articulated Emphasis" degree with Texas A&M University (TAMU) - College Station Students who complete this degree with a GPA of 2.50 with no grade below that of ("C") and who meet all admissions requirements at TAMU are eligible to apply for admission to TAMU's Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology program. Students who maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 in transferable hours will gain automatic admission into TAMU's College of Engineering / Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution Department. Students maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in transferrable hours will gain preferential review for admission into TAMU's College of Engineering / Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution Department. Students with a GPA of 2.5 to 2.99 will be reviewed utilizing the standard transfer procedures at Texas A&M University and will be evaluated based upon traditional review. Students should follow this plan only if they wish to transfer to TAMU in Electronics Engineering Technology. Students wishing to transfer to another university should not assume this entire plan will transfer.
