Concepts of Physical Fitness
This is a Texas Common Course Number.
Course Description: Concepts and use of selected physiological variables of fitness, individual testing and consultation, and the organization of sports and fitness programs. Introduces the concepts of physical fitness, nutrition, health promotion, disease prevention and stress management. This course is designed to present information which will assist the student in making intelligent choices that contribute to a healthy lifestyle.
