Course Description: Discussion of meeting planning with emphasis on the key areas of meeting management. Topics include needs assessment, identifying meeting objectives, program development, facility selection, negotiations, contracts, meeting and function space set-up, promotion and publicity, budgeting, evaluation, and legal issues.
