Course Description: Overview of film history, aesthetics, technology and techniques including introduction to cinematic elements and approaches to analysis and criticism. Identify dramatic elements of films, visual and sound elements of film, motion picture genres, and basic plot structures; and identify important individuals in the history of film and motion picture technology.
