Cisco 1 – Introduction to Networks
This is a Local Need Course.
Prerequisite: Advanced level of understanding of personal computers and operating systems approved by designated Information Technology personnel.
Course Description: An overview of architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the Internet and other computer networks, the basic principles and structure of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations. Licensing/Certification Agency: Cisco Corporation. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Cisco 2 – Routing and Switching Essentials
This is a Local Need Course.
Prerequisite: ITCC 1477 or instructor approval.
Course Description: This course requires intermediate-level knowledge of CISCO functions in architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a small network, as well as, configuring routers and switches for functionality and resolving common issues with RIPv1, RIPv2, single area and multi-area OSPF, virtual LANs, and inter-VLAN routing in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. Licensing/Certification Agency: Cisco Corporation. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Cisco 3 – Scaling Networks
This is a Local Need Course.
Prerequisite: ITCC 1478 or instructor approval.
Course Description: Advanced CISCO functions in the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a larger and more complex network, configuring routers and switches for advanced functionality, resolving common issues with OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and VTP in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks, and implementing DHCP and DNS operations in a network. Licensing/Certification Agency: Cisco Corporation. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Cisco 4 – Connecting Networks
This is a Local Need Course.
Prerequisite: ITCC 2476 or instructor approval.
Course Description: Advanced CISCO network WAN technologies and network services required by converged applications in a complex network, selection criteria of network devices and WAN technologies to meet network requirements, configuring and troubleshooting network devices and resolving common issues with data link protocols and implementing IPSec and virtual private network (VPN) operations in a complex network. Licensing/Certification Agency: Cisco Corporation. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)
