Course Description: Introductory coverage of the technical skills required to write basic Transact-SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server. Licensing/Certification Agency: Microsoft Corporation. This course is cross-listed as ITMT 1303. The student may register for either ITMT 1303 or ITMT 1403 but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Course Description: In-depth coverage of the knowledge and skills required to install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot the client-server database management system of Microsoft SQL Server databases. Licensing/Certification Agency: Microsoft Corporation. This course is cross-listed as ITMT 2303. The student may register for either ITMT 2303 or ITMT 2403 but may receive credit for only one of the two. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Course Description: A study of the initial implementation of core services in a Windows 2012 environment. Topics include an introduction to Windows Servers 2012 administration interface, roles and features of the Windows Server 2012 operating system and various installation and configuration options used when deploying and configuring Windows Server 2012. Course Description: A study of administrative tasks needed to maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure including user and group management, network access and data security. Topics include how to implement, configure and manage Group Policy infrastructure, scope Group Policy Objects (GPOs) using links, security groups, WMI filters, loopback processing, preference targeting and troubleshoot policy application.
