ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCES DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING

Students who complete this degree with a GPA of 2.50 with no grade below that of "C" and who meet all admissions requirements at Texas A&M University (TAMU - Commerce) are eligible to apply for admission to TAMU's Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering program. Students should follow this plan only if they wish to transfer to TAMU in Industrial Engineering. Students wishing to transfer to another university should not assume this entire plan will transfer.

In order to be eligible to receive this AS degree in Industrial Engineering, a student must:

1. Complete a minimum of 60 credit hours indicated in this degree plan;
2. Earn a grade of "C" or better in English 1301 and the selected college-level mathematics course;
3. Receive a GPA (2) of at least 2.00 ("C")
   [NOTE: TAMU guarantees admission with a 3.50 GPA with no grade below a "C"];
4. Give permission to DCCCD and TAMU-Commerce to share transcript data in order to evaluate degree program progress and assist in degree completion requirements and reporting.
5. Meet all Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements and course prerequisites; and
6. Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction at Richland College.

Students who transfer to Texas A&M University (TAMU-Commerce) will not be core complete if he/she complete this degree. This degree does not include all Core course requirements.

Students who plan to transfer must work closely with an advisor/counselor.
