Global Logistics Management
This is a WECM Course Number.
Course Description: Develop skills and understanding in global logistics processes, procedures, and regulations used in transportation, physical distribution, warehousing, inventory control, materials, packaging, plant and warehouse location, risk management, and networks for logistics, suppliers, and information. Utilize decision making and case resolution techniques to solve problems and to develop logistical and information networks for supply chain management appropriate for global corporations. (3 Lec.)

Global Supply Chain Management
This is a WECM Course Number.
Course Description: International purchasing or sourcing. Includes the advantages and the barriers of purchasing internationally, global sourcing, procurement technology, and purchasing processes. Emphasizes issues of contract administration, location, and evaluation of foreign suppliers, total cost approach, exchange fluctuations, customs procedures, and related topics. Produce a project in purchasing/buying specific items and utilize exchange rates, channels of distribution, or customs regulations to resolve problems. (3 Lec.)
