Music Theory II
This is a Texas Common Course Number.
Prerequisite Recommended: MUSI 1311 or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor.
Course Description: This course focuses on part-writing and harmonization with triads and their inversions. Also included is a chord vocabulary expanded to include materials from the common practice period as well as contemporary periods. It is recommended that students enrolled in Music 1117 enroll in this course. (3 Lec.)
