Environmental Science II
This is a Texas Common course Number. This is a Core Curriculum course selected by the colleges of DCCCD.
Prerequisite Required: College level ready in Reading.
Course Description: Interdisciplinary study of both natural (biology, chemistry, geology) and social (economics, politics, ethics) as they apply to the environment. Focus on energy issues, global warming, ozone loss, land use, conservation and management, deforestation, biodiversity, the history of environmental law and regulation and local environmental problems. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
