Degree Plan Code: AAS.SOC.WORK.GENERAL The Social Work Associate Program is designed to prepare individuals interested in working with people to obtain entry-level employment in public and private social service agencies. The social service worker is equipped with skills, knowledge, values, and sensitivity to effectively serve human needs in a variety of community settings. Students have the options to select courses that will prepare them to work in general social services or specialized social services for chemical abuse or the aging.
