This degree is designed to develop the hands-on skills and conceptual art knowledge necessary for a graduate to advance in career paths appropriate to their own interests and abilities. The program will allow students to gain skills in using industry standard equipment and software and will stress the role of motion graphics in designing and producing professional graphics for the web, animation, and video games.

The Computer Graphics Specialist Certificate program is designed for students who wish to concentrate in a particular art area within the Computer Graphics field. Three curriculum options include emphasis in Print Graphics, Web Graphics, or Animation Graphics. The curriculum will familiarize students with art and technical concepts, skills, tools, and related computer software. With completion of the program, students should gain creative, conceptual, technical and communication skills needed for an entry-level position within the selected field.
